“Fred, you should just stick with math and science.”
This has been told me several times in different ways throughout my life. I guess people look at me, listen to me, and think that I’m a human calculator that is incapable of communication or original thought. Or perhaps they have this blasphemous notion that we should only pursue our strengths instead of our passions.
Well, I say fuck that! I don’t care that every English teacher said my grammar is atrocious. I don’t care about the low grades I got on papers because I couldn’t keep on topic. I’m a human being, and a beautiful part of being a human being is the ability to share my inner thoughts through language. I’m going to do it and I don’t give two shits about your opinions.
So anyway, here goes. I’m going to rip my skull open and let the bats and butterflies out for the world to see.
