Play It Roto-Robot by fredric Development Background This was part of my “make a game a month” effort. This one took much longer than a month, though. I think that I started this back in October, so around 3 or 4 months.
The Story First, the name Rotorobot came from my kid. I was showing him the early gameplay and asked him to name the character. He said Rotorobot. You’ll have to ask him what it means.
Roto-Robot by fredric Short platformer game. Controls:
wasd / arrow keys: movement spacebar: jump and jetpack control or left-mouse click: shoot The jetpack direction is controlled by the last directional key clicked. The game is comprised of 3 short levels with plenty of story between.
Play It LDJam 45 Background I created this game as an entry for the 72-hour Ludum Dare 45. The theme was “Start from Nothing”.
This is the second LDJam that I’ve participated in, and I feel like my entry this time around was much better than the last one.
Idea behind Nature Garden My idea with Nature Garden was to create a game where you started with absolutely nothing (literally a barren island) and you’d have to control natural forces to get certain things to grow.
LDJam Theme Visit the site here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45
The theme for this Ludum Dare Jam was Start with nothing

Favorite Games #1: Medieval City Sim Place buildings to build the city with the most points:
I loved this game. It uses Kenney’s Bit-Pack spritesheet and font. The game has good replay value, I think I played it 4 or 5 times before coming up with a good city.

git clone git@github.com:fdorothy/nature_garden Description Simple clicker game made for LD Jam 45 (theme: start with nothing)
This is a simple clicker game. Plants will grow and you have to harvest them when they are ripe, but before they die! You are a demigod and can control some natural events, such as bee swarms, cow swarms and rain. These can help your little island grow if done at the right time.
Collect all of the stars on each level.
Press the Play button to get the ball rolling The ball must collect all the stars Click to place walls to change the path of the ball Press Stop to reset the level Hints: when the ball hits a barricade it will try to turn left, then right, then backwards.
